In 1976 in Redding, California, biochemist Jamey Mazzotta, together with partners Smith and Kornfield, realized his dream of creating innovative hair products by founding KMS California, with the promise of research, production and marketing of the best professional hair products in the world.
In fact, after just one year, KMS California UK became the first distributor, spreading its products globally. To date, the evolution of the technologies underlying the products and their reorganization into decidedly original sub-brands have confirmed the strong message of freedom of style that has always distinguished hairstylists and customers.
