The Elumen (Goldwell) treatment gives the possibility of coloring the hair without the use of acids that damage it, reducing its destruction and deterioration, unlike traditional perms. The function of the Elumen treatment is based on principles of physics. The coloring particles partly penetrate deep into the hair, and partly attach themselves to the outside of the hair through physics, thanks to their reinforcing effect, they reconnect the porous points to each other. A sort of magnetic attraction brings the negatively charged Elumen molecules together with the positively charged hair particles, guaranteeing a perfect coloring result.
