Permanent hair color formulated without oxidants or ammonia. Creates extra-vibrant, glossy hair color without damaging the hair. Dermatologically tested.

Recommended quantity per application:
Hair length: Elumen
Short: 60 ml
Medium: 80 ml
Long: 120 ml

NOTE: Choose the Elumen shade based on the hair level and desired result (refer to the Elumen Color Chart for the recommended level). Use the Elumen support range if necessary (see support range overview below).

Step 1: Apply Elumen to clean, dry or towel-dried hair. Wear suitable gloves.
Step 2: Leave to process for up to 30 minutes without heat or up to 20 minutes with heat.
Step 3: Rinse with warm water until the water runs clear.
Step 4: Wash with Elumen Shampoo. Treat with Elumen Conditioner. Shampoo twice when using Elumen Pures. Style as usual.

ELUMEN SUPPORT RANGE

ELUMEN THICKENER
Thickens the consistency of Elumen color for precise application.
Shake well. Add drop by drop and mix until the desired consistency is reached. Proceed with application as usual.

ELUMEN PREPARE
Optimizes Elumen color deposit on pre-lightened hair. Use as a pre-treatment immediately after pre-lightening.
Spray generously onto towel-dried hair, saturating thoroughly. Do not rinse. Dry hair completely. Apply Elumen color.

ELUMEN LOCK
Reduces Elumen color fading.
Not required for level 9–10 Elumen shades.
Apply to towel-dried hair immediately after Elumen coloring and distribute evenly. Leave on for up to 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

ELUMEN CLEAN
Gently removes skin stains caused by Elumen color.
Apply to a cotton pad and gently dab the stains until removed.

ELUMEN RETURN
Reduces color intensity immediately after Elumen coloring.
Apply to hair and distribute evenly. Leave on for up to 30 minutes, optionally with heat. Rinse thoroughly and wash hair with Elumen Shampoo.

How to avoid staining …

… scalp/skin/hands
■ Always use Elumen applicator tools (e.g., applicator comb or nozzle)
■ Always wear gloves (including during rinsing)
■ Depending on skin type, apply a protective cream around the hairline
■ Rinse thoroughly after application without massaging the scalp

… materials/furniture/floors
■ Avoid contact with lightweight plastics and acrylics (e.g., Plexiglas®) used in certain items (e.g., bowls and combs) as well as in some sinks
■ Avoid contact with cellulose-based plastics, marble, linoleum, and wood
■ If in doubt, test the materials before use
■ Protect eyeglasses (especially the temples)
■ Do not use colored aluminum foil

How to treat stains on …

■ Remove immediately
■ Use Elumen Clean – skin color stain remover

■ Clean surfaces immediately
■ Use a mild household cleaner or an abrasive cleaning cream (Elumen Clean does not remove stains from these surfaces!)

… fabrics/clothing/towels
■ Wash with a standard household detergent
■ Stains cannot be removed from silk fabrics
